What songs do you listen to while you scrap?
I love scrapping with my MP3 player. The things I like to listen to are all over the chart! Some songs on my play list are “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor, “Holiday” by Green Day, and “Zombie” by the Cranberries.

Name 3 things in your purse right now...Dum Dum suckers, sheer lip gloss, no money but I always have Chuck E. Cheese tokens!

Which TV character most closely resembles your personal style? I’m a little of each of the characters from Desperate Housewives! I like things in order and am a perfectionist like Bree, I LOVE to shop like Gabrielle, I tend to speak my mind like Lynette, and am always getting myself in trouble like Susan.

Scrapbook confession…
I buy 2 sheets of the same patterned paper at a time, I have serious hoarding issues!

What is your all-time favorite movie? Breakfast Club

I have never….Flown. I haven’t even considered it an option, hence the fact that I drove across the country with 3 kiddos under the age of 6! I would someday love to travel to Jerusalem or Australia so I know there will come a time when I have to get over my fear.

When I was little I…Set fire to my Grandma’s bathroom, true story! I was 7 or 8, had to use the restroom, and she left a LIT candle on the back of the toilet. I thought it would be a great idea to light some toilet paper on fire, then throw it into the toilet water. Well, um, I kind of missed the toilet and hit her shower curtain instead.
I have been married to my college sweetheart for almost eight years. We live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with our very rambunctious three-year-old son, a dog and two cats. I started scrapbooking soon after we got married, but it wasn’t until our son was born that I truly fell in love with the hobby! For me, scrapbooking is the perfect craft as it combines memory preservation, creativity and the always needed "me" time. My other passions are photography, cooking, music, travel and college football. I also work part time as a CPA.

The fail-proof way to get my creativity going...new pictures fresh from the printer or new scrapbooking supplies. Either of those things can spark my creativity!

Name 3 things in your purse right now...camera, a small notebook and snacks for my son.

I can’t scrap without...a good story to tell. Journaling is always the heart of my layout, so once I have that the rest just falls into place.
Hi, my name is Jenny and I’m the momma to five young ones and the wife to my Navy
pilot, Patrick. My kiddos and their escapades are the usual subjects of my pages
and projects. I’ve been crafty forever and made my first scrapbook WAY back in
high school.
I started scrapbooking for real after the birth of my first child, for the typical
reasons, to document the milestones and remember the moments. It quickly became
much, much more to me. Scrapping keeps me sane (well, relatively... I did say FIVE
kids). It is my therapy on those long days when I play both Mommy and Daddy while
DH is away. I just don’t know what I would do without this crazy little hobby we
call scrapbooking. Many thanks to Kristen for giving me this opportunity to be a
part of Mosh Posh.

Name 3 things in your purse right now...
Ha! I haven’t carried a purse in seven and a half years. In my diaper bag...
bandaids (I buy them in bulk, my kids go through them like candy); a wad of
Starbucks receipts (grande caramel frappuccino light with whip, please); and diaper
coupons ( I clip ’em, I just don’t use ’em).

I couldn’t scrapbook without...
A stack of amazing pictures with a great story that just HAS to be told and a pile
of brightly colored patterned paper. Also, a fresh alphabet, chipboard, no less
than 5 different adhesives, my bowl of M&M’s, diet coke on ice, and a bit of my
scrap stash thrown in.

I feel most creative when...
The house is still, the kitchen sink is empty, the washing machine is running, and
the candy dish is full.
Hello!! I’m *Amy Harle* and I’m thrilled to be here at Mosh Posh!! I’ve been
married to Fred, my extremely talented DH, since 1998 (he makes custom
kitchen cabinets and furniture). We have two beautiful scrapping subjects
(hee hee): Olivia, age 6, and Ava, age 3. I work full-time for a major
financial services company and also travel 40%-50% of the time for work.

I started scrapping in 2002 after going to a Creative Memories crop at my
church. Not too long after that I, thankfully, stumbled upon a scrapping
website (no names!!) that contained scrapping styles that were SO different
from CM and I was HOOKED (obsessed…whatever!!). I’ve been scrapping (late
into the night, usually after the girls are in bed) ever since.

Although my style tends to be linear and clean, I love the more
shabby/messy/"out of the box" styles. I’m just not so sure it works for me
:) Because of my "clean" style my favorite manufacturers are American
Crafts, Scenic Route and KI Memories. I’m looking forward to creating with
the awesome kits Kristen puts together!!!

If you could be on any reality t.v. show which one would it be and why? The
Amazing Race without a doubt. I love the idea of traveling the world in
pursuit of $1M. I don’t, however, think I’d be very good at it :)

Where is the most interesting place you’ve ever traveled? Switzerland - for
my honeymoon. SOOO much fun and SOOO beautiful. And can you believe I
haven’t scrapped ANY of those photos? They were all from a film camera...so
I need to get some reprints (it’s only been 10 years...LOL!)

3 things in my purse right now - my BlackBerry, a scrapping sketch I did
while on a boring conference call, a necklace that I thought I had lost
(score!!)
Hello, my name is Lisa Houpt, and I have been scrapbooking for over 10
years and just love it! I have been married for 21 years and have two
wonderful daughters and one sweet little dog. They are wonderful and
put
up with this scrapbooking obsession that I seem to have. My scrapping
style is a little girly, shabby and fun! I love all kinds of
embellishments, especially ribbon/trims and flowers, and sometimes
find that I just can’t stop myself and keep adding "one more thing" to my
layout. I am so honored to be designing for Mosh Posh Kits!!

What is your all-time favorite movie? Pretty Woman

5 words to describe your (scrapbook) style: girlie, shabby, fun, busy & romantic

If you wanted to do something nice for me, you could.... run me a bubble bath, light some candles, give me a good book and a diet coke!
5 words to describe my scrapbooking style are....bright, cluttered, busy, fun and balanced.

If you wanted to do something nice for me, you could.... do the dishes!!!

It’s late, I’ve been scrapping all day... what’s for dinner?
Definitely pizza or some kind of take-out!

The fail-proof way to get my creativity going.... to scraplift any of my favorite scrappers!

When I scrap, the music I most often listen to is.... anything and everything! Country, R & B, pop, Christian rock, holiday, classic rock, hip-hop... they’re
ALL on my playlist!

My favorite t.v. show is.... why Survivor, of course!

3 things in my purse right now are... my wallet, coupons & lipstick!

Dr. Pepper or Mountain Dew? (Diet) Dr.Pepper all the way baby!
Hi, I’m Brook. I live in Florida, south of West Palm Beach. I’m married to
Aaron and we have a 2 year old son, Benjamin. I’m a SAHM but before my mommy days I
worked as a graphic designer and fine artist, creating murals and stage sets. I’ve
been scrapbooking since I was young, but really got serious about it after my son
was born. I also enjoy cooking (and eating), pilates/yoga, being outside, and
spending time with family and friends.

3 things in my purse right now are... lipgloss (CO Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint No.
1139... I’m addicted to it!), asthma inhaler, and a handful of matchbox-type cars.

Snack & beverage of choice when scrapbooking... Coffee! I love an iced coffee or
iced mocha from Starbucks paired with a sweet snack like cream puffs or a good ol’
chocolate chip cookie. But usually I scrap without snacks nearby because I’m so
accident prone!

What can you always do to get the creativity flowing? There’s nothing like a rainy
day to get me creative... but since I can’t control the weather, I like to browse
online galleries for inspiration.Or, I’ll flip though my notebook where I keep my
scrapping ideas, sketches and journaling. One of the two always seems to work.
Is there a creative process behind your layouts? My layouts always begin with a story that I want to tell. Most of my pages are all about the journaling, because I am, very often, trying to document a story. Once I get the journaling
down, I choose the photos and then finally the paper. Everything just kind of falls in place once I get the story down.

Name 3 things in your purse right now... Tide stain remover pen (I am very clumsy), Sarah McLachlan’s Wintersong CD (I brought it in from the car) and lots of Clinique lipglosses.

Where is the most interesting place you’ve ever traveled? I studied abroad for a year in college and lived in Germany. It was amazing.

Name one thing that you can’t scrap without... Embroidery floss. I love to handstitch on my layouts.

Do you have a scrapbook confession? I scrapbook on my kitchen table so that I can watch my kids play and be in the middle of everything, but I am also a very slow scrapper so it might take me a whole day to finish a layout. Since my stuff is all over the table, we have floor picnics and eat lunch (and sometimes dinner!) on the floor on a quilt.

Where is the strangest place that you have pulled out your camera to take a picture? I was in a dressing room at Old Navy and Breuklyn got all tangled up in a dress that she was trying on and was flailing all over theplace so, of course, I took her picture. I am sure that
everyone else got all freaked out when they saw a flash go off, but it
was a cute picture!

What are your favorite TV shows? I love, love, love Grey’s Anatomy and Project Runway.
